The short version
We use a small number of cookies to keep you signed in and to see which pages help people and which don’t. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell or share cookie data with anyone.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small piece of text a website stores in your browser, then reads back on your next visit. It is how a site remembers who you are between page loads, since each request would otherwise arrive with no memory of the last one.
Cookies we set
Three kinds, each for one purpose:
- Sign-in cookies, set by Supabase, which keep you logged in to TrendPost. The product does not work without these.
- A cookie recording your accept or reject choice for this notice, so we don’t ask again every visit.
- Analytics cookies, set only if you accept, which tell us which pages get used. These do not identify you by name and are never combined with advertising data.
Your choice
The banner on your first visit lets you accept or reject analytics cookies. Sign-in cookies are not covered by that choice, because the product cannot keep you logged in without them. You can change your answer at any time from "Cookie preferences" in the footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser settings.
Changes and contact
If we change what we use cookies for in a way that matters, we will update the date on this page. Questions go to hello@trendpost.dev.
