Terms

The rules for using TrendPost, who owns what, and why every draft needs reading before you post it.

The short version

TrendPost shows you what your field is discussing and drafts posts about it. The drafts are a starting point, not finished work. Read them before you publish them. What you write stays yours.

Your account

Access is by invitation while the product is new. One account is for one person. Keep your sign-in email secure, since anyone who can read it can sign in as you. You must be at least 16 years old.

What you may and may not do

Ordinary professional use is fine. These are the limits:

  • Do not use the product to produce material that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, or deliberately misleading.
  • Do not try to get around the daily limits, or automate the product in ways that generate load far beyond normal use.
  • Do not attempt to reach another user’s data, or probe the service for weaknesses without asking us first.
  • Do not resell the drafts as a content service without speaking to us.

Who owns what

You own what you publish. Every draft we generate for you is yours to use, edit, and post, with no credit required. We keep ownership of the product itself — the software, the design, and the name.

What the AI writes, and why you must read it

Drafts are written by an AI model. It can be wrong, it can be dull, and it can state something confidently that is not true. We instruct it to use only the figures we hand it, and we never let it invent a trend that no real source returned — but we cannot promise every sentence is accurate. You are responsible for what you post under your own name. Read it first.

Sources and third parties

TrendPost is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to LinkedIn, Reddit, or any other platform named on this site. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

The discussions we surface are public material published by other people on other platforms. We link to them so you can check them yourself. We do not control them and are not responsible for what they say. Anything you post to LinkedIn is governed by LinkedIn’s own rules, not ours.

Limits and availability

Each account has a daily allowance for searches and drafts, which is what keeps the product affordable to run. The current numbers are shown in the app and may change as we learn what is reasonable. The product is new, and we cannot promise it will never be unavailable.

Payment

TrendPost is free during the invitation period. If we introduce a price, we will tell you well in advance and you will never be charged without agreeing first.

Ending your account

You may close your account at any time from your settings page. We may close an account that breaks these terms, and where it is reasonable to do so we will explain why first. Your download remains available until the deletion completes.

Where we stand legally

The product is provided as it is, without warranties beyond those the law requires and does not allow us to exclude. To the extent the law permits, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for lost profit or reputation arising from something you chose to publish.

Changes and contact

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will update the date on this page and email you. Questions go to hello@trendpost.dev.
