Every user-visible change to TrendPost, the trend research tool for LinkedIn and X (Twitter), dated and in plain words.

  1. Drafts for X (Twitter) as well as LinkedIn

    • The same morning research now drafts for X (Twitter) too: single posts that fit in 280 characters, alongside LinkedIn posts up to 1,300.
    • Pick where you post in settings. Any topic can be drafted for the other platform from the drafts panel, for one credit.
    • "Open X (Twitter)" fills the post in for you. Your history shows which platform each post went to, and accepts the X (Twitter) link.

  2. Public trend digests and the marketing site

    • Public daily digests per niche at /trends — the same trend engine, running on system-owned profiles, so you can see the product working before signing up.
    • New pages: how it works, pricing, comparisons, audience guides, and this changelog.
    • Machine-readable product summary at /llms.txt for AI assistants.

  3. Hardening pass before launch

    • Speed limits on every button that triggers paid work, with honest wait-time messages.
    • Admin health dashboard: job failure rates, spend, and product metrics.
    • Nightly data thinning: engagement figures and excerpts are dropped after 14 days; proof links stay.

  4. Review dashboard, history, and account controls

    • The morning board: ranked topics with proof links, four drafts per topic, autosaving editor.
    • Publishing record with search, and a one-file export of all your data.
    • Account deletion with a seven-day grace period, and a morning email that only sends when there is something current to say.

  5. Draft generation in your voice

    • Four differently-angled drafts per topic from one request: contrarian, personal experience, how-to, question.
    • Live length and banned-phrase checks in the editor — the usual AI buzzwords are refused before you see them.
    • Regenerating never overwrites: every earlier version stays retrievable.
